Stronger Than the Sea There's a picture of Judy that I took on Grace Quan Ship, that captures how I feel about James Yee and his children. Judy was sitting closer to the front of the boat and her Dad was sitting just behind her. In that moment I could see the love and support he so consistently gave her. It was like the strong current that carried us in the boat. No it was stronger than that, stronger than the sea. I thought of all the times that Judy had told me of how her Dad was there to help her, sometimes it was just the little things...but other times it was the big things too. He was supportive of the things that made her happy and he never tore her down; he only lifted her up and loved her. I'm thankful that I was able to spend the day with Judy and her Dad at China Camp. He was gracious to me too whenever we were together; that day he even treated us to a lunch of dim sum. It was truly a wonderful tim, with the love of a Father ever present during the events of the day. The current that flowed between Judy and her Dad was that of a strong love, respect and admiration. I believe he felt that love for all of his children; and that love, dear ones, will never pass away.
