Jim was a very giving man. I watched him, over the years, give of his time, love and talents to his family and friends. His calmness and kindness were shared with everyone. Judy and I are friends, and during the time of his illness, I was helping Judy walk the dog for a week while Joyce was out of town. Jim sent a handful of beautiful dish towels to my house to thank me afterwards! Jim picked Judy and I up at the airport numerous times and usually took us to lunch afterwards! It pays to have a friend with such a nice dad :):) I was always welcome in his home and he always made me feel right at home. I did, at one time, hear Judy's grandfather scold her (rightfully so -- sorry Judy) and he didn't care who was around to hear it; however, I never heard Jim get upset or raise his voice. He loved his family so much and I watched him sharing that love by helping each one of you (or heard of him doing so). You are so blessed to have had such a wonderful, kind, caring dad and granddad and I'm honored to have known him. Debra Lee
